What the heck? Odd group of cars cruising with me to a show! - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

So yeah, normally when cruising to a car show, you'll see all Toyota's going in together, all Honda's, All Ford's, etc.

WELL, there seems to be a core group of us starting to cruis together. Not a group of car's you'd extect to see cruising with eachother! It;s quite odd how we all just kinda meet and are now planning things together. I was invited to a GTO meet (Friend is GTO in pic) on Sunday, so figured why not. After like 10 mins, a GTO pulls up. My new friend in the MazdaSpeed6 in the pics gets out of the passenger side of the GTO. WTF, he got invited by another GTO guy,

I just looked at him and went WTF?!?!?! It's pretty cool how we're getting a group of TRUE car guys together now.

Thats what the auto enthusiast scene should be like.

I'm sick of all fanboys hating on each other or the my-car-is-obviously-faster-than-yours-but-I'm-still-gonna-taunt-you-until-you-race-me bull sh!t.

If I was in your neck of the woods, I'd cruise with you guys too.

Honestly, thats why I like this. I;m sick of seeing the same cars all the time. I'm actually learning a lot this way about other cars. Another big show coming up in a couple weeks and several of us planning to roll in together. We joke about who's faster, but it's all in fun. That show in the pics, we're all from different paces too. My friend with the RX7 is over 1.5 hours from me. I hope the Auto Scene turns more into this.

^ Damn, wish I didn;t take down the pics before you saw it. Group of us cruising to a show on Sunday (weather permitting) of different cars. On Sat is a great meet (yearly event) at a friends house started on the Honda forums, but has branched to anything. Some of us that go have never even owned a Honda

It;s so much better hanging out with people that appretiacte cars overall then JUST a single type. Learn a LOT that way too.
