Here's a glimpse out of my street legal modified 1991 MR2 at Giants Despair. Ran consistent 52.xxx up this 1 mile historic course, which averages to 69mph. This event started in 1906, and has been driven by the likes of Carrol Shelby, Roger Penske, and Oscar Koveleski. Note, the last 1/4 mile after the S's to the finish-line is a 22% grade. That's greater than anything at Pike's Peak at 14%!
Anyway, lot's of fast fun, cautioning on the fact I've got to drive it back home. Enjoy the ride...
I was running Group1, allowing me to capture Group2 cars after lunch on Sunday.
*Next hillclimb Aug 7-8, in Vermont at OKEMO Mountain!
