After 6 years of trouble free service, the Honda Accord is history...the wife wanted a small SUV!
We drove many makes and models over the past 2 weeks, and this is what we liked the most!

I have a friend who bought one of these yesterday that looks amazingly like yours. It even has the same license number! Kia and Hyundai have come a LONG way! You will be happy happy happy.

You know, people have always warned me not to post my license plate # on the net...your friend must have stolen it!
I have a friend with a RED GMC just like yours, except his isn't lowered as much as yours! Isn't that freaky as hell
Thanks Jim

Definitely one of the nicest looking ones available, Kia has really been stepping up their designs as of late.
Thanks Ray Hopefully Kia vehicles may began to retain more resale than they usually do.
No matter tho, as long as it doesn't leave the wife stranded and keeps her safe.

I would have changed that siggy pic a long time ago if it were not for the software not allowing me to!
I'm just pullin your leg Jim!
Don't change it, it looks awesome! If you want to tho, here's how. I copied and pasted it for ya!
There has been a problem with updating signatures lately since the new forum update was applied. It appears that it loads a blank white page if you try to paste in a link from an image hosting website (such as PhotoBucket or ImageShack etc). Administration are aware of the problem and we're hoping it will be fixed soon. In the meantime, you can upload the image to TN's server underneath the text box on the 'edit signature' screen. Just give us a yell if you need any help

I've never understood the logic behind that I mean, technically, someone could just jot down my plate when I'm cruising around town and pull up my info afterwards, no? I dunno
But congrats on the new purchase! I think she'll love it I brought this up as an option back when I was looking for a car for the girlfriend, but it was dismissed immediatly because it was a Kia For the price, it very well equipped! And it about 4K less than a comparable version of what she ended up getting

I was messin with Jim (Zembonez) I know him, he's cool, I posted that pic on another Forum I belong to, too.
I agree with ya, I never understood why people PS out their tag number. What they going to steal my driving record
Did your GF drive a Sportage? If she had she'd bought it, if she did, and didn't...I just don't know what to tell ya!

Well, she had an Escape V6 Limited, so there was an obvious penchant towards another Escape In contrast, the '10 Escape I picked out for her was a demonstrator, V6 XLT 2WD and the price was a little under 21K after I negotiated it down, and after they applied employee discount So you got a killer deal Joe! And I think Kia maintenance, spare parts and labor are cheaper than Ford too!

The Escape is a fine Vehicle, congrats to the GF on the NEW car, but the wife didn't like the body style.
The wife and son test drove a RAV4 and a Santa Fe, and they really liked the Santa Fe, but I investigated it and there seems to be transmission issues, and a few owner complaints on Edmunds.com
Saturday we drove, two Nissan Rogues, a 2010 2 WD "Krom" and a loaded 2010 SL AWD...nice, but Nissan, cheaped out on the interior. I'm not a fan of the CVT transmission, and driving them was, "different" I guess I could get use to it tho. I just didn't want to buy a 10 model. I'm glad the wife wasn't thrilled.
I was a big fan of the Subaru Forester, and I had the wife drive one...she wasn't impressed, she didn't like the way it looked. It was a "station wagon". I tried to sell it to her, with the safety, and realiability..didn't work.
The KIA..she loved it! I must admit It never entered my mind we'd buy a KIA, but it really is a NICE vehicle for the $$$$$$ A unique design for sure.
Nice smooth ride for a little SUV, 2.4 liter 16 valve engine, 6 speed manumatic transmission AWD, hill assist 4 wheel disc brakes with antilock. Side curtain Airbags, Traction Control, Stability Control, USB ports, power seats, blue tooth, LED DTRL's and A 5 year 60k mile bumper to bumper warrenty, plus, 10 yr 100k on the powertain....
Final Assembly Point.. Korea
Country of Origin........Korea
Major Sources of Foreign Parts.. Korea 98%
US/Canadian Parts 1%
..wait a minute...I'm missing 1%

Nice. I love the new Sportage. It finally has a design that carries it's name and drives like one too! It almost won Motortrends 2010 TOTY. It lost to the Porsche Cayenne. =\ Can't really compete against an SUV that can go 0-60 less than 5 seconds.
KIAs going to add in the turbo version later next year. Now that will be one peppy SUV.
Congrats on the purchase. You really can't beat that warranty.
The Accord is gone! Wow. I'm sure whoever ends up with it will be VERY happy. You guys kept that CLEAN.
Kia. Hmmm. They've been stepping up there game lately. I'll be VERY interested to see how this sucker holds up. As for the design... I dunno. I'd have to see it in person. Not trying to bash your choice, I'm just a tiny bit unsure on whether or not I would have bought it.
Congrats though! A happy wife is... good? Tell everyone hello for me.
