New pickup truck I built

here is the photo of the new pickup I bought.
Everything is real except for the flames. I just did the layout to see what it would look like.
Below are two pics, one 800x600, the other 4 or 5 times larger. (about 500k jpg).

Link to larger image.

I gotta paint it sometime in the next year, but first a supercharger and posi rear end (highway geared).
Let me know what you think.

I like it man. You already said it but I would suggest a nice glossy black coat of paint and some nice dark tints to match it. How much did it run you?

I bought the truck bone stock about 3 weeks ago and lowered it and put the rims on it. the rims are 18's from another car I have. I did just get some 17" eagle 211's in trade for a beater truck I had. The tires are taller on the 17's so they get the highway travelling.

305 in it, 700r4, 4 speed. Still spins those little tires easy.

yeah maybe just bigger tires on the 18 would look better, but yeah the drop is definately tight.
yeah dont tell me bout spinning tires, my dad had a 72 GMC stepside that he dropped a 350 in with an auto tranny and you just touch the gas and it would lite um up, the rears of the trucks are SO light,

With a nice coat of gloss black that thing will look real nice. Those old skool Chevys are nice.

usually on trucks like that you use little plates on the suspension so it actually makes the axles sit closer to the truck in effect lowering it, i forget exactly what the suspension type or plates are called. But i could be wrong, we'll let woody answer

3" drop spindles and 2" drop coil springs in front.
Axle flip kit in rear with frame notch.
I want to get the airbag setup for it. I had the front a little lower but I couldn't get it on the hoist to get the alignment set up. So I had to buy new springs and put them in.
It would be cool to have it sit a little lower when it is parked.

That would look sweet on bags, having it lay even lower when parked and bags deflated.

yeah it would look cool, plus shaved handles and a nice lil' tint

IMO if ur gonna bag it, u might wanna go w/ a bigger rim? there's a lot of room in those wheel wells for bigger sizes, and bags might look a little goofy w/ a smaller set of rims. But then again it wouldn't look bad at all, especially w/ this stance

that is the look all right, hot rod style.
Cool fix on my pic.
I got a set of black 20" rims picked out, polished outer rim, black 5 spoke. 28"x12" rear tires, 27"x10" front.
Or should I go with a full polish rim?

i think the black w/ the polished lip would look sweet , but to tell u the truth i'm probably one of the worst ppl at deciding what rims to go w/, unless it obvious. only answer is photoshop try em both out and see which u like better
