I got my old hard drive data recovered and found these two clips that I shot before the Camry was running 100%... Basically these clips were used for diagnosing my crank trigger issues as you can hear the car misfiring on the video clips. I was merely using these vids to troubleshoot. Regardless, I thought I would update you guys with at least some photage of the Camry. The Camry should be up and running 100% by end of next week, and for sure this time there will be no probs

These clips were with the T66 @ 10 psi and I was still tuning/troubleshooting. Quality is not the best BTW

if i'm reading your speedo correctly....the white numbers that is (is that in mph or km??)

but never-thee-less.....the 100 to 160 pull was crazy...looked too ez for you

I don't actually understand whats happening. Your accelerating..the revs get to 5K...and they stop..im assuming thats the TC locking..but why doesnt it keep revving?? And you speed isnt increasing very quickly..never seen anything like that before. Nonetheless, awesome, i love it!

The deal with high stall converters is the fact that they accelerate at their given stall speed. In my case, the stall was between 4500-5000RPM, and that's when the torque converter multiplies its torque and starts transferring power.

With the Camry's V6 gear ratios, the 3rd gear goes up to about 190km/h at redline. In order for to the RPM's to climb above stall, the mechanical relation between the transmission and engine must satisfy each other. So that means the car has to go above ie: 170km/h or so before the RPM's will go above 5000RPM because of this mechanical relation.

Well, the car doesn't accelerate very fast because it was missing

I had some crank trigger issues with the Haltech and it was causing the car to miss. Everytime you saw the speedo needle shoot up, the engine was accelerating nicely, but once it misfires, it stops moving. Anyway, the problem was fixed already but something else came up (refer to Wraith's manifold thread). Regardless though, it took my Camry 7 secondss or so to accelerate from 100km/h to 160 km/h (60mph - 100 mph), and it's not too shabby. Most cars I see accelerating in that range of time are actually pretty quick. Try to hit up some other car videos you have and see if you can do some quick comparisons. I did several comparos, and an IS300 with T61 turbo at 10 psi was actually slower, about 8 secs, and an Audi S4 with APR stage III also took 7 secs. I really can't wait to do a real official video, and that will come sometime end of this month

Ahh, i see. Yeah, looked like it was missing pretty bad, the speedo goes up real nice and then stops..but yer..thats a very quick time! What do you reckon she would do 0-100km/h? Sounds good mate, can't wait to see the new vids.
