How to draw a car. 3-step tutorial *56K, Carpool*
I decided to use the 2006 WRX STi Spec C as a basic car to start. It's a 3-step tutorial, so it's not much explanation. If you keep practicing, maybe you too can draw this in less than five minutes. The scans aren't great, but it's manageable.
Step 1.
The Outline of the Car
You can use a ruler or not, but I prefer you don't. This is the best way to learn how to draw straight lines without a ruler.
I'm not gonna explain how I did because it's too much writing. I'll post another thread on a step-by-step bases. But for now, just copy the lines I did on each steps and you would be line from there.
Step 2:
Drawing in the details of the Car
The stock version
Step 3:
Cleaning it up, Rims, and more details! The Finished Sketch
My kit design
Oh yes, one more thing, the kit was designed by me. It isn't how the stock WRX looks like btw.

Oh, I wanted to try designing a kit for the 2006 WRX before anyone else does. Plus, people wanted to see how a kit would look like on the new Rexs.
Plus, I've drew a couple of Toyotas in here already.

So, I'm wondering if anyone would try to draw a car using this technique. LoL, it's complicated, but it's the best I can do.
Master|Asia. Ummm.....I'll try, but don't be expecting me to do it anytime soon.
