I'm not suprised that it happened. Mustangs have crappy suspension.

My friend has a 89 Mustang with a supercharged 351W. He said when you make a lot of power they have a habit of ripping out the torque boxes. Their just spot welded from the factory.

I welded them up on his car and the suspension has been upgraded to a Griggs Racing setup.
