Toyota was caught using a restrictor bypass on the GT-4.

For those of you that don't know, they put restrictors on the intakes so you can't make too much power. That way it keeps classes even as far as hp goes.

Toyota pulled out for a few years but came back with the Corolla hatchback and are kicking some ass again

That history video was done by someone who know nothing about the hisory of the GT4 as it was the gen4 GT4 that won WRC in 89 taking the tyle from the Delta then sucess with the gen5 and then restrictor bypass on Turbo on the gen6 got Toyota kicked out of WRC.

Ive watched video again it was 1 year after the GT4 won as its entered in 88.

Q for you who is it talking on the video?

Umm.. No.... Gen 4 CELICA, is the year that had the GEN 1 GT4. Because there was never a GT4 previous.

yep thats exactly what its for,
you can imagine it would get pretty hot in those cars, and they dont got a/c
They decided they would rather piss billions away on a failed F1 program.. I wish they would stop beating that dead horse and get back to the WRC.
