Talk about 'bang for the buck'. I test drove, Audi, BMW, Acura, Nissan, Saab, Mercedes, and a few others, when I decided to take the Avalon for a spin. The new version of the Avalon is quite stunning!
I hope these photos come up OK. I'm new to the forum. Greetings to all!
The new Avalon's, and the older ones were, and are really the best large cars on the market. GM's new Buick Lucerne is a joke compared to this beauty.

Thank you, V6Camry! I'm really enjoying the car. I happened to see a white 2006 Avalon Touring today at a dealership and I looked that car over top and bottom, and inside and out. I couldn't see any difference between that one and the 2005. Hmmm... anyway, thanks for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it.
Thanks to all who looked and left comments. I sincerely appreciate you all taking the time to look and comment. A few more pics of my car can be seen here: http://www.toyotanation.com/photos/s...ry.php/cat/585 . (Just look for "Jasmine" under the thumbnail to see which are mine. I hope you like them. I will try to take some more interior shots soon.
I'm really loving this car, and the navigation systems is SO cool. The 12-speaker JBL sound system really is awesome, and you cannot even believe how spaciouis the rear seating is unless you've sat in the car. The fact that the rear seats recline is also very cool.
One other thing that some may not know is that with the Toyota, the spare tire is a full size tire with the same wheels/rims as the other tires on the car. I was very surprised when looking at the Acura to see that they only provide a 'doughnut' for a spare. Seems a bit miserly on Acura's part. Let me know what you think of my images, as I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer and would love to know what you think. Also, doesn anyone have a photo of a wheel with the wheel locks on it? I'm curious to see how they look on the wheel.
