So I wanted to add some cathodes to my footwell after I did it off my friends ride (xterra) but i wanted mine somewhat more complex. My three things were, master switch, on with door and aux switch.

Most of the wiring was figured out by 88le in this thread Link

all in all it took me about 2 hours. a good chunk on installing the switches, which i think look pretty damn clean.

Heres a tutorial that I found, most imporant thing off this was how to find the door trigger wire link

The only thing that annoys me is the fact that the aux switch is lighted, but it wont work. because the switch has to toggle the ground there is no power going to it to light the led. i tried running a 12v to the ground on the switch but it wouldnt work.
other then that i am happy with the way it turned out and am thinking about another set on the other side.

project cost 30$ (10 to bulk electrical supplies) cathodes from oznium.com they are my 2nd set highly reccomended.

are they neons or cathodes? Cause cathodes tend to give off a pink/orange color instead of red?

Can you hook as many neons up as you like? I have been thinking of getting some neons under the car and linking to my interior so when you open the door, you can check for mud in the dark.

which one?

the one on the kick panel is a master off. Shuts the entire system down.
The one up near the wheel is just to turn it on if im driving or something.

Makes me sad that my Corolla has no good place to mount neons (I know these are cathodes) so that they're hidden in the front, as many other AE102 owners will attest.
