Oh geez. I just noticed the shot with the *huge* SELOC banner.

But yeah. I recognized that Pontiac, Solara, and that white GS from browsing the sight awhile back.

Next year I'll be on the pavement... maybe I'll at least get 3rd

Car looks great BTW... I've been contemplating doing that same thing to my grill but was weary of doing it.

You obviously put a lot of detailed work into the car and it looks great! I'm especially impressed with the painted letters and symbol on the valley cover - how did you do it and make it look so natural?

chet- I got some micro brushes form a hobby shop and painted all the letters by hand !!! The valley cover is actually painted gunmetal grey(3 coats) to aid in under hood cleaning, then I painted the letters with model paint (6 coats) 1 coat of clear. It takes a long time with the micro brush but it came out pretty good. The lettering on the SC is done in Duplicolor red caliper paint (4 coats) applied with the micro brushes.
Prep and patience is the key !!!

bB626- that swap looks so clean and OEM. LS1 is a perfect fit.

LS1 swapped fc's are awesome.

And the wiz the car looks amazing. Awesome work. Hopefully next year I'll be cruising down there with Sean(Ruffrydasean). We were gonna do it this year but time and money got the best of us. I'll def. look you up when we come down, if we do.
