Isn't the XR a better choice for turbocharging than the XRS? I read an article that said that the XRS was risky to turbo because the compression ratio was so high. You would not be able to run as much boost on an XRS. Since the torque is only 5 better on the XRS, it will not be able to produce as much torque as the XR due to it's inability to handle high boost.
So what is the verdict? Is the potential of the XR greater than the XRS?
I agree that the XRS is better out of the box, but if you are going for forced induction which is better?
This is a good thing for people to know before they wait a long time for the XRS. They could spend the money they are saving on a turbo system for the XR and have a better car. Hehehe, BOV's rock!
