OBD II scanner

Ok, I feel like an idiot. My check engine light is on, so i bought a OBD II scanner...but can't find where to plug it in at....any help? It doesn't plug into the diognastigs plug under the hood.... Did i buy the Wrong one? I bought an Actron CP9125: http://www.actron.com/whats_new_detail.php?id=20

Its under the dash on the driverside......you can either remove the entire panal or just look for the outlet for the plug under there.
