Who’s Solara is this?

This is my favorite car, I am thinking of selling mine and getting a Solara like this one.


What year is this one? 1999?
And I am guessing TRD body kit and mags? Does anyone make mags like this for cheaper then TRD?

Finally how many V6 manual’s were made? Any at all (for Canada..)?

That is the TRD solara ..with TRD wheels aka... tsw revo, caution they are not heat treaded though! and are 17" 's....it is a 99 or 00 or 01 the fronts all look the same however not sure if this is the v6 model! Reason unless they have debadged it??? There is..no SEV6 or SLE V6 on the side of it! which could mean it is a I4 with the kit thrown on! any more questions feel free to ask!

oh and to answer your question about how many V6 manuels were made in canada...well not much from 99 to 2001 and in the V6 trim only the SE V6
has manuel tranny! the SLE V6 comes only auto and of coarse the I4 comes with both!

What is the diff between the SE and SLE? By the name SLE would seem to have more options?

I Know it will be very hard to find a manual.. but I hope I can find one... otherwise auto would do... If I can afford any of them that is :oops:

SE V6 usally only comes with Air cond, sunroof,V6,alloy rims 16", spoiler!

SLE V6 comes with all of the above plus ..leather heated seats , climate control, and traction control, and a JBL audio unit, also can come in convertable! i think thats it for the differences...

Crap I also wanted leather seats... oh well not like I will be able to find exactly what I want when looking for a used car

you can buy the leather seat set and put it on after...it looks the same (my friend has one) only no heated seats! one more thing the SLE V6 comes with heated mirrors!

actually no they are making more and more V6's with stick! my friend has one that is 2002 stick V6...it would be the V6 accord that does not come in manual!

you can buy mine for $19000 =) .but it is still waiting for modify fuel system and dyno-tune. Now its running 5 psi with T3 turbo, front mount intercooler, and 310cc RC engineering fuel injectors. lots upgrade...spend $9000 to mod it. btw, its 2000 solara 5 speed, 4 cylinder with 47000 miles.

actually the new V6 accords will come in manual (starting january i think) and as of the 2003 model (the current one) toyota does not make any manual V6's, 2002 was the last model year (until they smarten up again!)

You can buy SE v6 with leather straight from the factory. You can also have JBL system in SE. I even got the side airbags.

I got everything that SLE has except for the automatic climate control, side mirror heaters, and the seat warmers.

I believe the real TRD solara are debadged.. Which means they don't have the SE V6 or SLE V6 badges on the sides.

Of course it is ALOT cheaper to just buy regular Solara SE V6, then buy the TRD bodykit separately.

do you have traction control?? i don't think you would have that either...

traction control was an option only on the SLE (and after experimenting with it in the snow ive come to the conclusion its pretty much useless!)
