tuning with wideband

ok so i have the safe c2 and wideband o2 what should the a/f mixture be running at on the wide band and what is the safe ratio to keep it betweenThe safe c2 is in the car but i have not put the wide band in yet i want to learn just a little more about what ratio i should be running at .some one please help it might sound weird how im asking but i could use some info on where it should be on the lean rich and stoich side and where it shouldnt be i read 12:5 is that true
