Strut Repair

First timer here...

I have a 2000 SE V6, I've only had it a few months. My front struts need replacing, so I'm wondering if this is something I can do myself or does it require tools/resources that I wouldn't have at home?

Also, what kind of struts would you recommend I get as replacements. Thanks in advance.

You could probly use the jack that comes with the car, and youll need an assortment of wrenches, the only thing youll need to rent would be a spring compressor. Someone did a pretty good write up on replacing the struts, it might be in the camry faq, or just do a search, and that might give you a better understanding of what the job entails.

Tokico is a pretty popular strut, but most people use em in conjuction with lowering springs, so if you arn't planning on dropping your ride anytime soon regular oem replacements should be fine.
