Just want to say "hi" to all of you in here. I just bought 06 solara and I'm impressed with the car. I traded a jeep grand cherokee WJ and at first I thought I'm gonna miss the jeep. But after 2 weeks driving my solara, I feel that the solara is a way better built car ($20K toyota feels way better than my $35K (new price) jeep) and I don't miss my jeep at all. At least I have a car that will not leave me stranded on the road (Its a toyota, right ... ) and not staying in the shop for repair every other week like my POS jeep.

Welcome and congrats on the new ryde.

I sold my Cherokee Laredo for a Avalon and I don't regret it a bit.........I do regret buying the Jeep and selling my 2nd gen Camry though.

I got the 4 cyl engines, I that the V6 is better but I want to keep my monthly payment as low as possible

I want to lower the car but I live in upper MI, the snow is killing me. I will definitely lower it once I get out of this place

I'm happy with my solara and will keep buying Toyota as long as I don't have to send it for repair every other week like my Jeep (which I think won't happen)....
