I picked up my new Solara SLE convertible on June 3rd. The dealer put self tapping screws through the soft bumper to hold my front (NJ) license plate. It looks terrible. Where can I purchase a "bracket" that will add space to the top so that the plate will hang vertically, and not on a 30 degree angle?

I just purchased a new 2008 and couldn't believe that it didn't come with an actual plate holder.

I was even more frustrated to find out that they make one for it but want you to buy it separately.

I called the dealer today and they gave me one for free.

The part number has changed, but they can look it up in the system and know exactly what it is you'll be asking about.

Try www.magauto.com, they will be cheaper then your local dealer.
