Hi!
I have 2000 Toyota Solara 2.2L I4. On Sat my car's ECU started to show P0505 error code, scanned computer at AutoZone (they do it for free) and wrote down their suggestions from AutoZone manual
-check vacuum
-check motor (idle control motor)
-check some air flow valve (? don't have this card right now, trying to recall it)
-check wiring
More or less this is about Idle Air Control system (or similar name) and either lower or higher than expected idling speed (it affect RPM's in my car).
Anyone had something like that? My idea is to go to Pep Boys and let them fix it. Any suggestions for me?
