Renova did the R&D and they are finally ready to sell them. Theres a huge thread at solaraguy about it, check out page 22-23 for the details. $99 US, unpainted, shipped within the US. The original cost was said to be $135 + $15 for shipping to canada.
the pre-order site is here, the first 100 customer will get discount for $99 shipped. I am not affliated with the company btw, but i am the person suggest them to make grills before i sold my car
steve chung from sc3 website did a few of those many moons ago, i was initially part of the gb, but i wanted to go on the second round....too bad for me, the second round never came! After freaking 5 years, these are finally available again, I already ordered it via solaraguy site thread...can't wait for these myself.
So can you get them from them in a specific color? I have a red 2000 solara have been looking forever for a grill like this!! It looks sharp, Should be easy to install also right?
Thanks!

you are lucky because this fits better than schung's grill. schung grill required few modication on the bumper in order to fit.
the grill will come in gray primer, you will need to get it painted by yourself. the paint job usually is about 100 dollars
Ive preordered mine a while ago I should be getting it within a couple of weeks. The thread is on solarguy under the for sale section for first gen solaras.
