Will '02-'04 Camry XLE Wheels fit on '99 Solara SLE

We bought my wife a '99 Solara new and now the wheels are showing their age. Will the alloy wheels from a '02-'04 Camry XLE fit on the car? What is the bolt pattern and offset for the Solara 16" alloy wheels? I have found a set of new Camry wheels but I do not want to buy them if they will not fit properly. Thanks for the help.

The short answer is 'yes' they'll fit. You don't necessarily have to stop with Camry wheels (unless you really like them). Any wheel with a 5x114.3 (sometimes shown as 5x114) lug pattern will work. That includes almost all Toyota/Lexus cars with five lug wheels and many other imports.

Sorry, I don't recall offhand what the offset is for your stock Solara wheel but you can always pull one wheel and measure it. That would only be useful if you're looking at aftermarket (non Toyota) wheels. If you want to grab the Camry wheels then you're good to go.

Edit to ad: Checking the TireRack website all the aftermarket wheels listed to fit your '99 show a 40mm offset.

Cheers

So, with that info, are you saying that 2003 Solara SLE wheels will fit a 1997 Solara?

The '97 through '03 are both Generation I Solara's. For all intents they're mechanically identical so there would be absolutely no issues with swapping wheels.

Apologies to the original poster for the thread hijack.

Cheers

No problem highjacking the thread. Turns out that I never did anything with the wheels on the '99. Instead I just bought my wife a Red 2008 Solara SLE V-6 so she has new wheels now and she loves the new car. Gave the '99 to her parents. Still going strong. Thanks for the help.
