Im running a group buy for JPP headers, we need one more person for 13% off- check it out!

This group buy is for JP Performance Headers, Y-Pipe, and/or Catback Exhaust for the 1mz-fe gen 1-1.5 Solara, gen 4-4.5 Camry, and the Lexus ES300. Buyers will have the choice of any or all of these three components- you can buy just headers, just the y-pipe, just the catback, etc- JPP isn't picky about which components you would like.

I have been dealing with Jose who i believe is the owner. He has been extremely helpful so far and I trust that they will be helpful with this assuming we get the necessary people together. The pricing rundown looks like this:

Normal Pricing (Non-Group Buy):

Headers Only- $999
Catback Only=$699
Headers and Y-Pipe=$1599
Full Exhaust System=$1999

5 Member Group Buy Pricing (13% Discount):

Headers Only=$869
Catback Only=$608.13
Headers and Y-Pipe=$1391.13
Full System=$1739.13

10 Member Group Buy Pricing (22% Discount):

Headers Only=$779.22
Catback Only=$545.22
Headers and Y-Pipe=$1247.22
Full System=$1559.22

We will most likely have between 5 and 9 buyers is my guess, so we will probably have the 5 member discount. Half of the payment needs to be given to JPP in advance, then the parts will be produced. Production should take about 3 weeks from what Jose tells me, then the other half of payment will be due and the parts will ship out to us when complete payment is made. Shipping should be in the $75-100 range from what Jose quoted me. If we have about 5 people, half payment would look like this:

Headers Only=$434.50
Catback Only=$304.07
Headers and Y-Pipe=$695.57
Full System=$869.57

**HALF PAYMENT DEADLINE IS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH**

That is my current goal for half payment, so that will give people time to get the money together. At this time, assuming we have 5 people or more, we will all need to contact Jose and make payment to him directly. His number at the shop is 714 754 6977. I would like everyone to hold off on making payment until we know for sure we have 5 people in and ready to pay- that way if we never get enough people we will save our community the embarrassment of having to pull out of the GB.

I'm interested in getting the JPP headers and y-pipe for my 2001 Camry V6 but I live in California so there's no way I'll pass the smog test. How do you guys with the headers installed on your car manage to pass smog?

I dont think anyone on TN has the JP setup right now... I am guessing you would most likely have to swap back to the stock headers for the inspection or pay someone to pass you... Let me know if you decide to get in on this and check out the thread on solaraguy.org for more info

The front header and y-pipe would be fairly easy to install, but the rear is harder to get to. Shouldnt be terrible, I think you may just have to loosen the engine mount bolts and rock the motor forward- I dont know for sure but that is what I have read on Solara Guy.

I would guess $600 for just the y-pipe, i didnt ask him if we can do just the y-pipe or not but i would assume you could... I dont know if it bolts up to the stock manifold or not though.
