Antenna Help Please

Hi,
My 2000 Solara SLE's antenna is stuck in the up position. I'd like to replace it with one of those black rubber antennas but am having a problem finding one that will fit my car--at least that is what the person from the Auto Audio store told me. Can anyone out there help me. I hate retractable antennas, especially in the winter.

Solaras do not have external antennas unless it's a convertible.

you may be able to make the honda s2000 antenna fit. On my gen 3 camry I was able to use the sub mount from a celica and the s2000 antenna- it looked really good but didnt do much for the reception. Your best bet would be to find a replacement motor/mast at a junkyard or on ebay.

Fill the hole and get a internal one with a booster. It will goive you good preformance and not look out of place.

I figured that wasnt the best option since youll have to repaint your whole quarter panel, but it would be the bet looking option
