Cheap rear seat replacement

I have a 2000 Solara SE with cloth interior. I want to replace the rear bottom seat (not the back rest) because I could not get some left over pet odor ( i think) out. I bought the car used. I inquired with the dealership and they told me it would cost about $900 to replace!.

Anyone knows any alternative to getting cheaper seats other then the junk yard? Any stores? I plan to get it steam clean and see what happens. If that doesn't work, I plan to just hose the thing down. What about replacing the seat cloth at a upholstery place? I am located in the Bay Area California.

Thanks

I would keep an eye on ebay, rear seats will pop up once in a while. Also try putting some dryer sheets under the back seats for a while and see if that helps. I had oil spill in my trunk and run under my back seat in my camry and couldnt get the odor out for a while, but lots of febreeze and dryer sheets later the smell is gone... could be worth a shot.

I think your on the right track a good steam cleanig couldn't hurt either. However I think your cheapest and best bet would be to try this stuff called "Natures Miracle" it's a white bottle with a red cap located at most pet stores. It has special enzymes to break up pet stains ie. yurin, vomit, blood, and even just bad smells. It works great. I would spray down the back seat on a sunny day and just let it air dry with the windows down.

Take the seat out of the car and clean it. Its a lot easier then doing it inside the car. Just push the seat towards the trunk and it will pop out.

Thanks for the advice. I steam cleaned it but the odor is still there except a little less. I took the fabric apart from the foam and plan to hose the foam and the fabric down with some kind of soap.. Any one have any soap or detergent in mine that works good? I heard something about "Simple Green" but not sure. Then I will use the Nature Miracle spray as mentioned.
