Installation instructions for RS3000 system

Hello,

I'm a newbie to this site and am wondering if anyone might be able to help. I just bought a VIP RS3000 alarm kit for a 2000 Solara SE (kit #08586-06811). My problem is that it didn't come with the installation instructions, only the owners manual. Would anyone have this installation information available for a 2000 Solara?

Thanks for your help!

RS3000 installation instructions

The issue is where to plug it all in. There are a number of wiring harnesses and modules, and the step by step instructions w/ pictures is what I am needing. I've seen posts on other sites for a Tacoma, so I know that these are written. Please help!

Installing an alarm isn't easy. Did your car have an alarm before? If not, then you'll have to take out panels and look for all the wires and splice into them.
I had the RS3000 alarm before, somehow the alarm ecu burnt and melted. It was crazy. This happened just a few weeks ago... I just finished installing an aftermarket remote starter + alarm yesterday.

RS3000 installation

No my car didn't have an alarm before. The instructions should show which panels to remove, where to make the harness connections, etc. Are there any Toyota techs on this site that might have access to this info? The RS3000 kit that I bought (#08586-06811) is now discontinued by Toyota, so there is no way to order this from a dealer.

It shouldn't be a problem if I can get the step by step instructions, showing which panels to remove and the connections necessary.

Hey roller, you're not the first one to ask for instructions on this, and as a matter of fact I've been looking around trying to find the factory install manual to put up here. Do the folks here a favor and post them up or contact dana_15 about maybe putting them in a sticky.
