When it rains does anyone have trouble with the rain dripping into your car from the Conv. top?

It drips down around the beginning of the Conv. top. Even when I get my car washed. You can see it dripping down the windows. When I open the door it drips on the side of my seat and has actually made my black seat discolored. It drives me crazy!

My '04 is bone dry inside even in very heavy rain at highway speeds. I 'do' get a little wet when I open the door though. The gen2.5 top has a channel built into the edge of the top (much like a hardtop) to prevent most water from running off the side and down into the car when the door opens. That channel is missing on the Gen2 car.

If you're getting water from around the windshield header and top just adjust your latches so they're a tiny bit tighter. One turn might do it.

If you check your owners manual I think you'll find it advises you not to spray water directly from a hose (that would include car washes) at certain angles toward the area where the top and window meet.

Cheers
