Anyone have wiring diagrams for 02 solara dash lights??

Ok my mom just called me saying that all her dash backlighting is out.She is bringing the car up tomarrow am at 8 oclock est.Does anyone have the factory wirng diagrams or troubleshooting for the gauges backlighting etc.


She already has checked to make sure the dimmer is adjusted corrctly.The local car detailing place just got done with it so don't know if the bumped or banged something or its just a coincidence.Any suggestions would be helpful.

Or if you can send me a copy fof the sevice manual or even just the wiring diagrams it would be much appriciated.Please send it to kswebb1@zoominternet.net And thanks for looking.

After you double check mom on the dimmer (without her knowing of course) and if the lights are still out check the fuse box. I don't know about the Gen1 but some cars do have a separate fuse for dash and interior lighting.

If all else fails you can easily download the entire maintenance manual, including wiring diagrams along with every technical service bulletin ever issued for mom's car here.

It'll cost you ten bucks for several days membership but you have access to tech data for virtually every Toyota on the road today.

Thanks to everyone who responded.It was the dimmer being turned down.She never adjusts itso when they turned it down.She was moving the vent control .Hey just hope every fix is that easy.
