'00 Solara; Rim question - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I just purchased a used 2000 Solara. I need to replace one rim but I am having a really difficult time finding one. The car has 15in tires but the rims match the oem 16 x 6 inch rims. What am I missing? I have never purchases a rim before.

A quick search for "Solara Rim" on E-Bay produced 34 results (stock and aftermarket wheels) "Solara Wheel" might produce even more. You might also try Craigslist or a local wrecking yard to find the single wheel you need.

The wheel/tire size is molded into the side of your tire.

Yes. My tires are 15" but the rims I have been able to find for 15in tires are 7 spoke. The three remaining rims I have on my car are 6 spoke and look exactly like the 16 x 6 in rims that get returned when I search (ebay, craiglist, any parts store on-line) for '00 Solara rims.
