Post Newbie here...Picked up a 2000 Solara 4 cylinder...what to do? Mods?

So it has #120k miles on it but sounds and rides nice....

I will be doing a tuneup this weekend....IS there anything else i should check or replace? thanx

Also...what is the stock size tires we run? thanx

when was the timing belt and water pump replaced last? check the seals on the motor and all the fluids.

stock size should be 205/65/15

Timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, spark plus wires, oil change, coolant flush/change, transmission flush ( not necessary but nice to make sure you got new tranny fluid ), etc

4cyl + heavy body = useless to add performance products.

If you just want sound, CAI and exhaust. You probably won't get more than a 2hp gain and you'll lose low end torque which is what you want with a heavy car.

Just get a nice stereo and rims and enjoy the car until it falls apart and you have money for a better car.

Im not sure, but i think you can get a super charger for the 4 banger. I heard a while back that the one for the Tc fits camry I4. not sure but you might want to look into it
