Which color should I chose for a new Solara?

My wife currently owns a 1999 SLE V6 Solara we bought new that is silver in color. She does not want any variation of silver or gray for her next car. We have driven every possible car you can imagine and finally yesterday decided to buy a 2008 SLE V6 Solara Coupe but now she is trying to decide between the Absolutely Red and the Blue Streak Metallic. Either car will have the gray leather interior. On one hand the red is very sporty but the blue makes the car look very classy. In the long run which do you think would have better resale value? There seems to be a lot more Solara's sold in red but the blue color only seems to have been available since 2007. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Don't worry about resale value or what forum members would choose. Think about the color you'd be happiest paying for and driving the next five years. That said, red cars tend to fade more than most other colors.

The solution, ask which one 'she' likes best then go with that one.

Well we pulled the trigger and bought the Absolutly Red with gray interior SLE with VSC. Brought it home on Tiesday and she loves it. Now we have to get her parents down to pick up her '99. Thanks for the input. If someone can tell me how to post pictures I will add some to the thread.

I have a blue 2008 Solara. I love the color and get a lot of compliments on the color.
