Audio/Subwoofer question

I am in the process of upgrading my factory speakers. I have a 2007 Solara Convertible SE that does NOT have the JBL speakers or the navigation system on board. I am running the factory head unit and here's what I am doing:
Alpine 2-way 6x9's in door
Alpine 2-way 6.5" in rear
powered by a Profile 1040 4-channel amp

Here's the issue ... I am being told that there is a spot behind the arm-rest in the back seat where you can put an 8" subwoofer. I am trying to find out if that's an available option on ALL convertibles or if it was only available for the SLE models.
I'm hoping that there's just an open spot there where I can place a Polk MM2084 and a 200w X 1 amp to power it up. I just need to make sure before I go out and purchase the sub and amp.
Can anyone verify if that 8" sub location is available in ALL of the Gen 2 Solaras or just in the SLE???

The answer was posted to you on the Solaraguy forum. I even posted a picture (the woofer is 'not' behind the armrest). It's standard on the SLE, optional on other models with the JBL head unit and 7 speaker system.
