early or late model 99 solara

hi all, i have a 99 soalra and wanted to get a locking gas cap, stant has 1 but i have to pick between early or late model solara, and they don't give any other information... so how do i tell?

BDR,

You could tell by looking at your VIN number but before you go to the trouble you might want to look again at the Stant listings.

where is the break point between early and late in the vin sequence?

also the website you posted has the same 3 styles as the main stant site i got my info from:

MFR#: 10834
Fit Note: "Models made in USA., Late, 1pc".


MFR#: 10825
Fit Note: "Models made in USA., Early, 1pc".

MFR#: 10504
Fit Note: "Models made in USA., Late, 1pc".

and then they have another one:

Part Number: W0133-1629728

that says it fits all without any caveat on early or late

come on stant...WTF!!!

i emailed stant and hopefully they will have some answer
