Cool Headlamp On Warning Tone?

I am now the proud owner of a 2004 convertible, named Luci (for redhead Lucille Ball). It's a 3-years late birthday present for my 50th. Anyway, dealership lost owners manual and have one on order. I've scanned the owners manual on line for some things, but see nothing about a recent concern.
Is there a warning sound when the car is turned off and the headlamps are left on? Mine doesn't ding, whir, beep, scream, yell, or anything. I'm surprised if there isn't a "dummy, you left your lights on" tone or something. My Nissan, Chevy truck, Mazdas, and other in years past and present have this.

'preciate any info.

Diddy,

Congratulations on the new Toy!

There is no bell or buzzer or other annoying tone. You have something better. Your headlights simply turn off automatically 30 seconds after you turn the key off unless you manually turn them off at the switch or by pressing the 'lock' button on your remote.

You can download, save/print the manual for your car (actually it's an '06 but the same) from my website here: http://gadgetjq.com/solara/mom_06_solara.pdf

Cheers
