Hose in rear trunk side panel?

Hi, I don't know exactly how to describe this, but does anyone know what a plastic hose or tube might be underneath the right side panel in the trunk? There was a noise coming from back there while I was driving and after taking off the panel, I found this hose that is connected to something on one end (can't see where) and is just kind of hanging there rattling around. Is it supposed to be connected to something? Does anyone know what this hose is for?

Thanks

Does the car have a power antenna, was the hose coming from the antenna motor?

No, the only antennas I am aware of are in the back windshield. I am now thinking it is some type of air filtering tube from the gas tank?

Yes, I do have a sunroof. The tube is a little dirty, but not wet or anything.

It's a drainage tube for the roof.

Thank you! Is it okay that it's just laying there - we taped it to the side of the car (on the inside, of course) so it's not banging around anymore. Not sure how it came loose to begin with.

it should be going through a grommet with the end out under the car so it doesn't just drain into your trunk.
