2006 Solara SLE V6

I have an '06 Camry Solara SLE V6 that's not a daily driver. Recently surpassed 10K miles - had service performed at local shop (not Toyota dealer). How do you get the maintenance light turned off?

Hey Chris,

Turn on your ignition and push your odometer reset button until the display shows 'total' miles.

Turn off ignition and push the same button but hold it in. Turn on the ignition. Wait and watch the display while you hold the button. The numbers will, one by one, turn to dashes - - - - - - . When all you have are dashes you can let the button go. The maintenance light should be out and should stay out until 5000 miles go by then it'll come on again (solid) to tell you an oil change is due. Notice that light will blink when you start the engine between 4500 and 4999 miles trying to get your attention so you'll do the change 'before' you reach 5000.
