Question about TRD dual exhaust for Solara - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I was wondering if anyone knows if dual exhaust shown on the TRD solara will also fit the camry. I know they share the same chassis and that many parts are interchangeable between the two, but I guess it's likely that the rear underside of the cars are designed differently.

Any ideas?

do you have a pic? TRD doesnt make a dual exhaust. It might have been custom.

Unbelievable, such a sweet looking ride but no manual tranny!I purchased my 2K Solara(5 spd) from a lady who bought an Accord V6 w/ 6spd! Just what market is Toyota aiming these new Solaras at? Do they know something Honda doesn't?

I like how the North America Only Solara has a similar rear to the Soarer/SC430.

My best guess is that Toyota Motor Sales USA (not Toyota Motor Corp) wants the Solara to be a competitor with the Chrysler Sebring (V6 powered roadster) and not the 2-door Accord. The Accord V6 coupe (240hp 6speed manny) was designed to be the Acura for people without Acura money.
