TRD supercharger kit for Solara

Does anyone know for sure what the differences are between the automatic and the manual supercharger kits for the Solara? I have read somewhere on this forum that the EBC module is the same between the two, just wired differently. I have also read in the TRD instruction manual that there are 2 different modules for the different applications. I have the opportunity to purchase a kit from a 2002 automatic but I want to make sure it will work on my '99 5spd.

Thanks,
Shawn

the only diff. is the EGR pipe and the way the EBC is wired. You can order a new EGR from Toyota for a few bucks.

So what is the difference between the modules listed for the manual trans 00602-89661-002 and for the auto trans 00602-89661-001? I am refering to the listing in the installation maual . If they are the same then why do they list 2 different numbers? I'm not certain as to what their function is for the 2 configurations. What I mean is what are they designed to do? I sent an email to TRD a couple days ago but I don't expect to get a reply until after the new year.

Do you order the EGR pipe from Toyota or TRD?
Do you have the part number?

Thanks,
Shawn

Note: The actual EBC wiring harnesses are identical for all models. The only difference in the auto and manual installations, is one wire that you do not hookup if you're dealing with the manual ECU. (According to Jason Gibson from CMPL)

^ yup. If I'm not mistaken, it's a single ground wire.
