DRL N HID's

I got a 99 Lara SLE V6. The car comes wit DRL (Daytime Running Lights). I'm lookin to disable the DRL so it won't kill my HID ballast. Does anyone kno or maybe a wiring diagram??

Don't hold me to this but I 'think' on the Gen I Solara there's a gray plug attached to the right wheel well. Unplug that (assuming it's there) and your DRL's will be off.

Cheers

but the gray plug is actually found in the engine bay- it's right behind the passenger side strut mount, it's kind of a round plug

Thanks for the clarification. Inside the engine bay is what I meant (never occured to me someone might look on the 'tire' side of a wheelwell for wiring) but now the owner knows exactly where to look and what to look for.

Cheers
