Location of ECU on 1999 Solara

Hi ,

I lost my master key and much ship off my ECU for reprogramming. Can anyone tell me the ECU location, and any tips on removing it? Thank you!

If its for the alarm system, the ECU is under the center armrest.
2 bolts under the little carpet inside the compartment, and 2 smaller screws under the shifter panel. You kinda have to pop out the gear shifter trim to get to those screws.
Once all the bolts/screws are off, the whole armrest thing just pops out.

^^^ummm....no. for a gen 1 solara, the ECU is behind the glove compartment. Open it up, unscrew the few phillips head screws, pull the glove box out (held in with clips), and there's the ECU. disconnect and unscrew.

^^^...um... i was referring to the ALARM ECU...
If you are looking for the CAR'S ECU... Then yes, you would be right, its behind the glove box...
