2003 Solara Convert. Rear Window Seperation

Hey all,
My wife and I have a 2003 Solara V6 SLE convertable and we noticed yesterday that the rear window has begun to seperate from the canvas. The entire top edge has seperated and is slowly working its way to the edges. Is this something that I can fix myself with a comercially available pruduct, or are we looking at a new top?

I'd recommend you bring it to a convertible top shop. With the Florida sun beating down on it for so long, the material itself may have started to disintegrate. Only a pro will know for sure. The rear window may be able to be re-glued. It depends on the condition of the fabric itself. I would not recommend trying to re-glue it yourself with any of the products available at the local parts store. Good luck. Hy

We've got the same deal with my wife's 2001 Solara SLEV6. Does anyone know if this is a common issue? Is there a way to avoid this happening?
