2006 toyota solara remote starter installation

Hi -i'm installing viper 5900 remote starter in 2006 toyota solara v6. need help with installation. i got starter installed but have several problems after installation.evry things works fine but remote start .starter does not ingauge. if i start car with key and press * botton twice right after this i can remove keys and car stays running. where is my screw up?

You might need a bypass module. Not too expensive... In your case, the car won't start without the keys... The reason you can stay running after you press * is because you have your keys there. Without your keys, it won't start remotely.
I'm not quite sure if i'm right tho... On my gen1, i didn't need one.

installing bypass module. but starter should crank over without bypass but the car would not start at my understanding. in my case starter won;t ingauge.is there other relay to cut off starter if there is not proper signal detecter from key cheap? i should't start this project but i have no way back.bought usb adapter want to reflash xk05 module with software for my car .This may help. Thanks all
