08 Solara radio display

Is there anyway to increase the radio display (station, volume info) brightness? The display on my 08 Solara seems weak/faint, and is unviewable with sunglasses on.
Thx

I think with sunglasses on you'll have a hard time reading the display no matter what. I have had the same experience on my other vehicles as well.

check the wiring. if ur car is still under warranty, then take it into toyota. they should be able to fix it or replace ur stereo. but in any case... get an aftermarket unit!!

Unfortunately, the visibility of the readouts when wearing sunglasses is terrible and there's nothing you can do about it except go to an after-market unit. I've got the upgraded radio/stero in my 05 and can't see the station markings half the time. The radio was replaced s few months after I got the car because the AM recption was terrible. I like to listen to the news stations on AM. The replacement radio is no better than the original: poor AM reception and unreadable screens. You just have to live with it. Sorry. Hy

USA What king of sunglasses?

I have found that POLARIZED sunglasses will cause this problem. If you can tilt your head and see a difference, this is your problem. Change to non-polarized sunglasses.
