That is not a real solara guys. It is just a body made to look like a solara. That car is a full tube fram chassis and a full race built car from the ground up. It was not bought from toyota then built it was made from scratch. The reason why they have a solara body and not something like a supra is because they wanted something different.

I think your leaving a misleading impression. Thats not a Solara anymore, and its a drag racing car that has many sponsors with deep pockets. I challenge any individual who asks about this swap, if their resourcefulness (both techincal and monetary) can compete with professional race teams with decades of experience.

That car has been around for a while. But yea it's not a solara anymore, it's just a shell. I'm glad that he got the new street glow sponsor, hopefully that car will be out there for a while.
I was there! I witnessed that car for myself. I have pics of it running in the sixes. They were there at Englishtown. I have tons of pics from that day. ESPECIALLY the bikini contest.
