USA Solara 2000 2.2 I4, adjusting driver head light

Hi,

I had a collision 3 weeks ago and a workshop fixed the car for me replacing parts of front left corner (bumper, fender & lamp) and fixed the hood.
All looks not bad, just the problem is that those guys didn't adjust the new headlight...
Normally driver side headlight should lit up the road in front of car further than the passenger side light, right? well i got opposite setup now and need to fix it, because i can barely see anything at night (very short distance, maybe 15 feet).

Can I do this myself? if yes, can someone explain how to adjust the driver side headlight? all i want to achieve is to make it lit up the road ahead further than passenger side light.

thanks for help.

Yes you can adjust it yourself. There's a knob you can turn to adjust your headlights. I believe its silver-ish grey. However, you might need to take out the battery since i forgot if its in the way or not.

thanks so much man!
I will take a look soon to see if i can access that knob. I am not sure atm but i think battery is on other side or maybe i'm confusing it with my other car. will check it out anyways, thanks again!

finally had some time to take a look. in deed the battery is on driver side (you were right) and i found that silver knob that looks like it has some teeth (sorry for my non-technical language).
however i found it hard to move that knob with fingers, i guess need some tool to do that.

EDIT:
so, it was easy. i didn't have to remove the battery. all it takes is a small screwdriver and pushing the teethed wheel with it one notch at a time. job done. thanks for help!
