2006 Solara SLE V-6 Convertible Electrical Problem

OK... This one has me stumped. My rear speakers and rear window defroster have stopped working. The light on the dash for the r.w.d. does come on but nothing. The rear seat base was recently removed to fix a carpet issue and I'm not sure if I had the problem before this was done. Is there a fuse or a pinched wiring harness that may be the root of my problem?
The car is a 2006 Solara SLE V-6 Convertible with factory Nav and XM. Also I have a VAIS SLQ installed. The XM and SLQ have been there since day 1 and I've owned the car since new.

It sounds to me like a connector under the rear seat or carpeting has been disconnected, or the wiring harness has been cut, when the rear seat/carpeting work was done. I'd suggest you bring the car back to whoever did the job and tell them to find out what they did to disconnect your rear wires! Good luck. Hy
