Solara-Camry Parts Compatible?

Hi all,
I have to replace my wife's side-view mirror (I won't comment on how it broke since I just put a huge dent in the side of my car). She has a 2004 black Solara. I've been trying to find new or used parts and it's somewhat confusing. I find plenty of side-view mirrors for 99 - 2003 models, but almost none for 2004 and beyond. Then, when I did a request for used mirrors through various sites on line, I got back quotes for Camry mirrors. Does anyone know if Camry and Solara use the same side-view mirrors?

A quick answer would be "sometimes." A better answer would be to suggest you call an auto salvage yard. They have interchangability books or software which tell which mirrors will replace the one you broke. You also could call a Toyota parts department. They can check the part numbers for mirrors on Solaras and Camrys and tell you which ones are interchangeable. Good luck. Hy
