Gen1 Got a question

Hi everybody, i had a '95 camry but now she is dead so i buyed a '00 solara se V6 5spd. I'm planning putting in some HID and i'm thinking of H4-4. Does the two bulb stay on when on high beam? Does it have a mod to keep them open at the same time?

Thanks

Both lights will not remain on at the same time when the high beams are activated. Not entirely sure how you would mod the wiring in order to get that affect since I believe once the high beams are activated, the actual HID bulb and halogen bulb shift. Although i could be wrong as I'm still really researching which HID bulbs to get once my current set go. Was thinking H4-2, no exactly sure what the difference is btwn. H4-2 and H4-4 tho.

H4-2 is low beam = HID and High beam = Halogen
H4-4 both beam are HID

I think you might know this, but if not- the gen 1 solara uses one two stage bulb for high and low beams, not a separate bulb for high and low beams like the gen 3 does.
