I have a Solara 2007 I bought second-hand. Trying to upload phonebook to JBL/Toyota Bluetooth setup - does nothing - starts transfer but nothing happens on iPhone - bluetooth otherwise works fantastic!!! Any thoughts anyone??

CB,

This may not be true for your system (I have an '04 that doesn't have built in Bluetooth) but most devices leave the phone book stored in the phone. There really isn't an upload from the phone into any memory in the car. When accessing the phonebook you're looking at the info in the phone on your screen. Once the two devices are decoupled (phone turned off or moved too far from the car) the info is no longer available in the car.
