Son wrecked is 2000 solara need help

Ok after getting the wheel and fender out of the way the damage was not too bad. It broke the control arm and bent the strut and broke the axle and bent the link bar. So off to the junk yard got a new control arm and strut with spring, bought a new axle from advance auto and went home to install all of it. My problem is the hub still look like it is leaning way in? Even with everything else off, just the strut hanging in the hole and the 2 knuckle bolts just in there but I can’t figure out why it leans in that far. I see no signs of the hub being bent. What I’m I missing? The back of the strut is hitting the body already I can’t see how it can lean in any farther? I just need help.

Yah it looks like an alignment job to me too however it was a good hit and you may have some structural damage. If you can get it to a frame machine that would be the way to go cause then you will be certain it is within spec. however if you assemble everything and bring it to an alignment shop they will tell you right away if it needs straightening.

Good luck, Tim

You may want to check w/insurance 1st, b/c that may be considered a "Salvage," b/c of the damage, otherwise you may go under insurance fraud
