where is the oil pressure switch located on the block?

Hello,

I'm trying to install an aftermarket oil pressure gauge and am having trouble locating the oil pressure switch on the block of the 1MZ-FE engine for a 2000 Solara V6 SLE. I think it is supposed to be around the oil filter, but I cannot see it with the naked eye. Is it hidden by the lower manifold? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, has anyone had trouble with aftermarket gauges not working or interfering with the ECU?

Thanks!

not sure if i selected your model exactly (put your VIN on this website for exact parts match):

it seems that oil pressure switch is located on front side (toward headlights) of V6 engine. hope it helps.
